Flower Dance
Flower Dance is the annual spring semester formal held by the Colorado Gamma Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Flower Dance began in 1933 before moving to the chapter's newly purchased 121 East Lake Street property in 1935. Since 2001, the Flower Dance tradition has continued at Eagle Canyon Ranch in the Larimer County foothills, and in 2013 moved to the McC Ranch in Masonville.

The 2013 Flower Dance marked the 80th year for the tradition, and was held at the beautiful McC Ranch located in Masonville up the Buckhorn Canyon. The new location proved to be a major success, and we plan to return to the McC ranch for years to come. The brothers recognized at the event include Bat Taniguchi (New Member of the Year), Tyler Burke (Athlete of the Year), Quinn Booth (Gary Sailor Award: Best all Around SigEp), Tripp Lester (Outstanding Senior), and Elliot Tucker ("That’s My Buddy" Award)

Flower Dance 2001
In 2001, Flower Dance returned with full galantry and was moved off-property for the first time. Eagle Canyon Ranch, located in the foothills west of Horsetooth Reservoir, was a spectacular setting for the historic event.
Flower Dance 1999
Flower Dance was held in the front yard of the chapter house at 121 E Lake Street in Fort Collins for the last time in 1999.
Building the scene for Flower Dance in the front yard of the chapter house was a week long event that was often as much fun as the event itself.
The hand-built stage and pond can be seen in the accompanying photo taken at the 1999 Flower Dance. In this photo you will find Brian Summers '03, Kristin Lohman, Mike Glasser '00, the future Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Scheich '01, and Rob Boyer '99 just to mention a few.
